Our client is the only globally-active independent gasket manufacturer, supplying nearly all car manufacturers in Europe, North and South America as well as numerous Asian vehicle manufacturers. Emerging from the recession, they are now planning for significant future growth and are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Business Development Manager will focus their energy developing new business opportunities (primarily within the automotive industry), meeting key sales targets and business objectives. As a key company representative, the Business Development Manager will develop and nurture relationships with new contacts, finding out facts and gathering information about their current and future projects. These requirements will then be effectively communicated to the Commercial & Technical team so that solutions can be developed and presented for nomination of new business. The Business Development Manager will remain the key point of contact throughout this time.
Educated to a good standard, you will be highly self motivated, dynamic and have proven business development and sales success within the engineering / manufacturing sector. This role would ideally suit a sales and business development professional from within the automotive industry; however, technical sales professionals from other similar or related industries would be of great interest.
There is a comprehensive remuneration package with this role including; bonus, company car, pension and private healthcare.
