This is a key role within the sales and marketing organisation of a prominent UK based manufacturer of internationally recognised branded products supplied to the building services, HVAC and related specifier markets particularly in Europe and the Middle East. Responsibility is for the entire export sales activity via direct and distributor channels, leading a small team of regional sales managers and conducting high-level sales activity personally.
Reporting to the Sales Director of this £100 million overall business the objective will be to consolidate and grow the export sales of the business on a global basis with a particular focus on the development of European markets, whilst continuously reviewing export channels and organisation structure to optimise the efficiency of market contact. The role calls for an experienced export sales professional, ideally with knowledge of the relevant market sectors and territories, coupled with strong leadership ability, business drive, commercial acumen and the interest and resilience to travel extensively to demanding schedules whilst meeting business targets. Building upon the long established brand names of a recently redeveloped and rationalised product range this will be a challenging but exciting position offering considerable scope for personal and career development.
