The overall mission of a Mechanical Planner is to improve the efficiency and productivity of own Personnel and third party service through a good planning, follow up and optimisation of all preventive/corrective maintenance tasks to reach the targets of equipment availability/reliability at the lowest suitable maintenance cost, in collaboration with all involved departments, following the maintenance guideline (MAC) defined by the company.

As a Mechanical Planner reporting to our Preventive Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for Planning and scheduling of all preventive maintenance routines in SAP together with specific execution responsible. This includes Daily, weekly, and 13 weeks planning. Prioritise the notifications coming from condition monitoring or others and generate corrective work orders in agreement with the requester.
You will consolidate the details of major repairs and contribute/lead the major shutdown meetings. Generates and follow-up purchase requests for services, materials, spare and wear parts ensuring Just-In-Time delivery and optimisation of Net Working Capital (NWC).

Other key responsibilities include:

• Control of expenses during planning as well as during execution versus budget and control of inventory level versus guide value.
• Ensure that special and repetitive jobs come with standard work order. Lead the weekly KPI review meeting as well as work planning confirmation for coming week.
• Assure that all work-orders have required Health and Safety information and that all legal (HSE) are in the yearly preventive maintenance plan and are executed.
• Monitor the realisation of plans and participate/lead after action review for shutdown or major repairs.
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical planner (Mechanical Engineering Background) with 5 year experience in heavy industry and 2 Year experience with definition and implementation of preventive maintenance programmes. Knowledge and application of FMEA techniques is desirable.
Must be computer literate – SAP PM (Key User Level Preferred) and MS Office.
Ideal candidate will also have excellent communication, team-working and organisational skills.
