Customer Service Coordinator

A customer service role requiring accuracy and attention to detail with Arqiva, global Leader in Communications Infrastructure.

As Customer Service Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for allocating space on our global satellite and fibre network to enable broadcasters to get their content onto the world’s major TV platforms. Your major focus will be on occasional use (OU) bookings which include programmes such as live sports, entertainment and news events. Reporting to our Bookings Manager, you’ll be dealing with customers over the phone and email, as well as other internal teams and working in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurised environment but within a great team and in a rewarding role. You’ll also:
• play a key co-ordination role between customers, vendor and third parties
• work closely with OU Sales and Operations teams to provide solutions
• identify opportunities within the account to grow revenue i.e. alternative products, additional business areas
• engage and promote close working relationships with our client base.

Experience in satellite co-ordination or other related satellite experience is desirable, though not essential as we will provide full training. What you must have is a focus and experience in customer service attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain orderly processes and handover documentation. Able to work under pressure and think on your feet, and with excellent customer focus, you’re a first-class problem-solver. Highly professional, you’re a flexible team player who can also offer:
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• superb time management and prioritising capabilities
• good IT-literacy, especially in MS Office

The position involves a shift rota of 8am-8pm and 10am-10pm, including weekends.
