Commercial Contracts Manager – SmartM2M

Pro-active management of this major, complex, £multi-million contract for Arqiva, global Leader in Communications Infrastructure.

As Commercial Contracts Manager reporting to our Head of Commercial, your prime focus will be on our contract with a major customer. Quickly achieving a thorough understanding of the contract and related contractual arrangements, you’ll maintain accurate records of contractual compliance and mitigate any delays and/or non-compliances, escalating issues as appropriate. In addition to supporting negotiation and undertaking the drafting of contract variations, your other key responsibilities will include:

• identifying and quantifying commercial risk (and mitigation options) in relation to the
customer contract and related contracts
• ensuring timely and professional customer engagement
• providing accurate and timely clarifications to colleagues on contractual terms whilst liaising closely with our legal department.

Preferably with a degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification, you have a substantial track record managing £multi-million commercial contracts, from bid through to operational delivery, within the mobile telecoms/technology sector. Able to quantify the commercial risk inherent within large, complex contracts and using this to maximise and protect Arqiva’s commercial and financial position, you’re also able to be commercially resilient, yet diplomatic, where customer demands do not match our proposed or contracted position. Your skills in managing multiple, complex activities to demanding timescales complement your ability to grasp the commercial issues and dynamics facing Arqiva and our customers. As well as superb all-round communication, presentation and influencing skills, you can also offer:

• a very tenacious and results-driven approach with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• a high level of integrity and ethics.
