About the role:

This is an excellent opportunity to be in a pivotal role within JRHT’s care services inspecting and advising on all our services to ensure they meet the relevant CQC and other regulatory standards. As the nominated individual for care you will undertake and co co-ordinate compliance audits across care services for adults supporting that with the relevant learning and development of associated staff. Having the overall responsibility for ensuring an up to date suite of care policies and procedures and ensuring they are available to the relevant people.

You will be the focal point of contact for CQC guidance both within JRHT and externally with the relevant regulatory bodies, running an annual risk based programme of audit and quality assurance, seeking to evolve process and procedure so we continually improve our outcomes.

You will, with support, establish the requirements for mandatory training within care services and ensure people are kept up to date with new initiatives and changes to the regulatory environment.

About you:

You will have proven managerial experience within a ‘care’ setting and a track record of positive outcomes within CQC inspections, ideally possessing experience as a nominated individual. The ability to interpret and explain current legislation in relation to the delivery of adult social care is essential to this role.

Your communication skills will be exemplary as will your ability to build and maintain robust working relationships. Good listening skills and a positive approach to developing yourself and others is also viewed as an advantage in what is likely to be a busy yet rewarding role.
