Online Resourcing is different to your average recruitment agency. We are digital recruiters and you can expect an innovative service that's completely different to what you are used to.

Traditional contingency agencies like generalist recruiters, employment agencies, staffing firms, personnel recruitment and placement agencies have a different approach to candidates. Contingency agencies will gather as many CVs as possible from a variety of places including databases, job boards as well as the job advertisement responses. Speed is the essence here and they will send as many CVs to a client as possible. Because of the wide search spectrum they employ, not all CVs will reach the client. Recruiters often don't have time to interview candidates and communication is limited. As a candidate, a contingency agency will rarely go into too much detail with you.

At the other end of the spectrum, retained search companies including headhunters and search & select companies offer a different candidate approach. As a candidate, you are usually contacted when you aren't expecting it i.e. retained agencies tend to search for passive candidates who are currently employed and possibly haven't even heard about the role. Headhunters expend significant time on filling individual positions and take time with the final candidates who are put forward. Each candidate will be personally interviewed and assessed for suitability so the service is very personal but can take anywhere from a month to a year. These roles are typically senior level / management positions.

The Online Resourcing approach:

  1. Find an Online Resourcing advertised job advertisement online and apply via the Online Resourcing application and press submit.
  2. Online Resourcing will send you a confirmation email to let you know that your application has been received.
  3. Upon submission, your application will go directly to the client. We don't look at it first or filter any of the application.
  4. We guarantee that the client will see your CV and application.
  5. As each campaign is typically 28 days, the employer will be in touch once the campaign is over. Online Resourcing works with employers.
  6. We give employers the power so that they can make the right recruitment decisions regarding your application.
