Your role purpose is to lead the analytical part providing recommendations for the strategic decisions and actions. As the Credit Risk Analyst you will work closely and act as a middleman between the external partners (sales and marketing) and IPF Digital functions (credit, fraud). It is your responsibility to align the different data requests as well as the different data sources within the organization and stimulate external partners to ensure they move in the right direction. Therefore, you need to understand both sides of the coin. This business will be market leading, ambitious and hungry for innovation.

This role will be based in Warsaw as part of the IPF Digital finance team providing financial reporting and credit risk services and expertise across all IPF Digital markets.

In our team, you will be responsible for:
• Providing analytical support as required on an ad hoc basis
• Presenting reports and analysis to the risk team, taking every opportunity to make recommendations to improve business performance
• Maintaining and ensuring effective reporting, being open to challenge and feedback
• Assisting in the development of methodologies for forecasting and stress testing credit exposure
• Caring about the business; monitoring and reviewing processes and policies to protect the organisation from unexpected credit risk losses
• Getting stuck into the detail, noticing key trends and patterns across the risk landscape and quickly acting upon them, getting a real buzz from recommending and implementing new strategies and approaches to further support customer growth
• Testing and learning approach towards the governance and development of credit processes and activities, being quick to tighten, relax or challenge credit and arrears management controls where they are not in support of the business strategy
• Always looking to do the best for your customers, whether internal or external
• Looking for economies of scale and opportunities to reduce waste, whilst not impacting the customer experience

What do we need from you:
• Knowledge and practical experience of credit risk analysis
• Relevant technical knowledge within SQL and DWH usage
• Breadth of knowledge across the Credit area
• Thorough knowledge of analytics and credit scoring
• High analytical and numerical capability
• Strong understanding in consumer credit
• Creativity and an aptitude for problem solving
• Fluent written, verbal and spoken English
• Sense of humour! :)
