This position will be a part of our IT Hub team located in Warsaw, which will be providing services for the whole organisation.

Your purpose:
IT is one of the key drivers of our success in achieving our growth ambitions within IPF Digital. Working as part of the IT team that support our entire digital business, your core responsibility is to manage the day to day activities of a specialist team of application support specialists, each with different core specialisms. In addition, you will also act as an expert in the in-house operational loan management application we have in place. If there are problems or issues with this system then you and your team are there. You will work closely with end users and also developers to address any problems and issues we uncover. Ultimately, your aim is to ensure that the operational loan management application is working optimally.

This role will be based in Poland but with responsibility across all of our IPF digital markets.

In our team, you will:
• Be responsible for Service Desk and AIO support team management duties
• Work as part of the virtual IT Operations team to ensure the effective management of the operational loan management application
• Personally troubleshoot and investigate defects for in-house software applications referred by customer support and ensure they are allocated to the right resources in the team
• Support both external and internal customers of our IT Help Desk ticketing system
• You will provide feedback to the developers in relation to the loan management application and support in uncovering bugs
• Provide day to day leadership and direction to the team, including the allocation of work, people management and coaching
• Record software defects using the bug tracking system and report defects to software developers to ensure a speedy and swift resolution
• As required, you and your team will perform support desk duties
• Work collaboratively with Customer Care and IT Development teams on more complex technical requests and issues to ensure an effective resolution
• Partner with the IT Development team to ensure the on-going development of tools and systems in line with the business requirements
• Consult / propose new solutions in line with business development
• Work with colleagues across the IT Operations team to ensure the security of the IT estate across IPF Digital
• Put customer experience and innovation at the heart of our business processes – have this in mind when approaching all IT activity
• Work hard to develop strong relationships with the extended digital team and to be flexible and pragmatic

What do we need from you:
• Salesforce.com Administrator Certification required (essential)
• Solid experience in software quality assurance
• Experience of working with Agile Software Development methodologies
• Used to working with testing databse changes and writing basic SQL queries
• Exposure to working in an international business that works cross-culturally
• Experience in leading a team
• Knowledge in working with MySQL, WordPress, TestLink, Selenium and Jenkins would be an advantage
• Fluent in verbal and written business English
• Spot issues and opportunities and acts upon them quickly!
• Team player with solid multi-tasking, time management & organization skills
• Able to travel internationally for business meetings (essential)
• Sense of humor! :)
