Candidates and Online Resourcing. What's next?

Online Resourcing are different to your average recruitment agency. We are digital recruiters and you can expect an innovative service that's completely different to what you are used to.

Traditional agencies like generalist recruiters and employment agencies have a different approach to candidates. Traditional agencies will gather as many CVs as possible from a variety of places including databases, job boards as well as the job advertisement responses and send volume CV’s to their bank of clients. Recruiters often don't have time to interview candidates and communication is limited. As a candidate, a traditional agency will rarely go into too much detail with you.

At the other end of the spectrum, retained search companies including head hunters and search & select organisations offer a different candidate approach. As a candidate, you are usually contacted when you aren't expecting it i.e. retained agencies tend to search for passive candidates who are currently employed and possibly haven't even heard about the role. Head hunters expend significant time on filling individual positions and take time with the final candidates who are put forward. Each candidate will be personally interviewed and assessed for suitability so the service is very personal but can take anywhere from a month to a year. These roles are typically senior or management positions.

This is what you can expect in 6 easy steps.

The Online Resourcing approach:

  1. Find an Online Resourcing job advertisement and apply via the Online Resourcing application button – attaching your CV, personal details and covering letter and click submit.
  2. Online Resourcing will send you a confirmation email to let you know that your application has been successfully received.
  3. Upon submission, your application will go directly to the hiring client. We don't look at it first, filter or change any of your details.
  4. We guarantee that the hiring manager will see your CV and application. Your details will never be shared with any third parties.
  5. Each campaign is typically run for up to 28 days, so the employer will be in touch usually once the campaign is over.
  6. We give employers the power so that they can make the right recruitment decisions regarding your application and invite you to interview directly if suitable.
