As Internal Communications Change Manager reporting to our Head of Corporate Communications and with a dotted line to the Director of IT and Networks you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing the communication strategy that will ensure our IT transformation programme is understood, embraced and embedded across our entire business.
Working directly with the transformation project team, senior leaders and subject matter experts you’ll be alongside them advising on internal change communications best practice so that communications activities are focused on building understanding and engagement, changing behaviours and delivering outcomes that make the programme a success. This is an exciting time for Arqiva and your role will be at the heart of a transformation programme that will touch every one of our colleagues.
This is a hands on role that will involve:
•developing and delivering compelling change communications programmes and plans
•developing and delivering the project message framework so that content is impactful, consistent and aligned to overall Arqiva messaging
•creating engaging content across all channels and platforms
•leading face to face activities that drive up understanding and ensure programme adoption
•ensuring activities are integrated and co-ordinated with our corporate agenda.
Educated to Degree level, you must have a proven track record in a matrixed corporate communications team in a similar environment, underpinned by experience of delivering complex internal business transformation communication activities, at corporate as well as programme level. Experience of delivering these for IT transformation programmes would be a definite advantage. Energetic and tenacious, with the gravitas and credibility to create influential relationships at all levels, you’re comfortable working closely with people in your own and virtual teams to shape plans and can also offer:
• evidence of creating the full range of communications materials to the highest standards
• the skill to translate complex topics into simple, straightforward messages
• creative thinking and problem-solving, with the ability to translate ideas into actions and outcomes
• proven ability to influence and manage a wide range of stakeholders, while also tracking their level of engagement
• examples of how you have used innovative communications approaches to enable large-scale change management.
