As Senior Data Configuration Analyst reporting to our Asset and configuration Manager, you’ll use your advanced data skills for the SACM process and other key data projects, populating SACM systems whilst working closely with the programme team and business resources. In addition to writing automations for loading and cleansing data, using, inter alia, VB script, MS access, Excel, Oracle and EDQ, you’ll create/contribute to data policies and gather and interpret large and complex datasets for the CMDB and other Service Management data sources, providing user and business support in line with our data standards.

Other key accountabilities include:
- cleansing and augmenting data sets to drive quality and consistency
- providing mediation and data analyst services
- contributing to and managing a data strategy for loading and management of data
- mentoring colleagues around data and database manipulation techniques.

Educated to degree level in a relevant technical discipline, with an intermediate ITIL V3 qualification and, ideally, experience of JD Edwards and/or CMDB , you have a proven track record in a similar industry sector, preferably within terrestrial broadcast. Your experience of VBA/ VBA scripting experience and of ITIL service asset and configuration management process is underpinned by your medium/high level MS Access skills and SQL capabilities.

You can also offer:

- an understanding of relational databases
- experience of data manipulation, cleansing, handling data quality and integrity issues
- the ability to work independently, with a demonstrable results-driven approach.
