We are looking for a Head of Sales (CC) to be based at our Customer Contact Centre in Watford with a national focus, covering our other Contact Centre sites in Leicester and Manchester.

As the Head of Sales (CC) you’ll be working closely with Marketing, our Contact Centre Operations Teams and our Partners to deliver exceptional growth, underpinned by exceptional service and quality. This role will be multifaceted but will involve building a world class outbound sales function and will ultimately give you responsibility for delivering revenue across all our centres. In addition you will be able to lead, execute and/or influence a diverse range of cross functional projects all aimed at delivering our ambitious growth targets.

With a proven track record of strong operational sales leadership over 2-3 years in a similar role, you will have a proud back catalogue of targets being achieved and broken - specifically in a high volume telesales environment. Leading by example, you will be at your best in a target driven environment, with a relentless desire to meet and beat monthly KPI's, and the ability to coach sales methodologies, develop competitive selling skills and drive positive behaviours with our outbound sales teams.

Alongside this you will be given the support to recruit and nurture an ambitious squad, and will be a key player in devising compelling sales training materials for the function. Comfortable with the analysis of data to drive effective decisions to improve performance, you will always be looking for the best techniques to drive your people to deliver great conversion results.

Your communication skills are dynamic and on point, enabling you to modify your style to operate seamlessly at all levels of the business, from the contact centre floor up to and including our senior management team and Executive Board.

A real team player, you will work tirelessly with your peers to influence conversion across customer service as well as in your sales arena.

The ‘essential mix’:
- A successful and proven track record of experience delivering strong results in an operational sales management position
- A born leader, you have the experience to be able coach, develop and ultimately jump on the phones to show the team how it’s done
- Ability to manage effectively across multiple business areas and multiple sites
- Proven track record of implementing and executing sales strategy, on time and under budget
- Experienced in developing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency in the areas of call quality, agent conversion, team conversion, CC conversion to name but a few
- Understanding of the role of the estate agent & the opportunities to disrupt the UK market
- Exceptional listening skills and the ability to formulate questioning techniques to drive a more consultative agent approach
- Experience of devising and leading effective bonus/commission schemes to motivate our people to deliver sales through service
- A working knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- A strong decision maker and problem solver
- Good attention to detail
- A positive, hardworking and can do mentality
- Ability to quickly and easily build rapport with team members and customers
