As Manufacturing Shift Leader reporting to our Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met with adherence to quality, cost, delivery, people and Health & Safety metrics. With up to 15 direct reports, 15.2m pieces manufactured per annum and around 200 SKUs, involving the performance management of multiple production lines, you’ll liaise closely with and performance track service departments’ agency and stock controllers. In addition to completing risk assessments and standard operations procedures, other key accountabilities include:

• facilitating continuous improvement workshops
• ensuring training needs analysis is up-to-date
• producing the weekly labour plan
• monitoring and maintaining 5S standards.

With a proven leadership track record within manufacturing, involving multiple production lines, you’re skilled in implementing continuous improvement. Your knowledge and experience of cutting-edge lean manufacturing, KPIs and quality control plans complements your experience of financial management. Accustomed to applying Health & Safety regulations within fast-paced, technical manufacturing, and with CIEH Level 3, you’re able to apply HR procedures. Furniture/wood-based experience would be an advantage. In addition to leadership skills, you can also offer:

Shifts are 06.00 - 14.00, 14.00 -22.00 and 22.00 - 06.00
