The Academy’s Faculty of Education offers internationally recognised qualifications including university-validated degrees, RAD awards and an international Continuing Professional Development scheme.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Officer to join the Faculty of Education team. Your role will be pivotal in providing high-level support to the Director of Education and Training and you will be required to manage various tasks including assisting the Director with projects, diary management, organising travel and servicing meetings. Alongside this, you will provide general office management support to the Faculty of Education team.

Educated to degree level (or equivalent), you will have substantial experience of providing administrative and secretarial support, ideally within an education context. Experience of diary management as well as preparing agendas, distributing papers and writing minutes for committee meetings are essential.

Excellent IT skills, together with all round first class communication skills in English will be needed as you will act as a central point of contract for the Director with internal and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate the ability to use judgement, act with discretion and sensitivity and maintain strict confidentiality, where necessary.

This is a varied and fast paced role and so the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and see projects and tasks through to completion with accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
