This position will appeal to an M&A Specialist with a proven track record in managing complex transactions, ideally in the power transmission or a related industry. You be joining a leader in the design, manufacture and service of high performance mechanical power transmission systems. Our client supplies a global marketplace in sectors such as defence, oil and gas, rail and industrial to name some in which the demands for quality and fulfilment are renowned.

As an M&A Specialist, reporting to board level, you will be pivotal in identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers and acquisitions, thereby driving our client's strategic growth initiatives. The role entails conducting strategic financial analysis, due diligence, and deal modelling, along with leading cross-functional teams in the due diligence process. You'll manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, negotiate and structure deals with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses.

The ideal candidate should have an impressive P&L management background, project management expertise, and an understanding of the power transmission industry. A graduate degree in business or finance, and possibly an MBA, is desirable. Your track record should exhibit clear progression through M&A roles in world-class companies, excellent planning, project delivery skills, and an understanding of lean principles. Your leadership style should be inspirational and motivational, fostering a participative environment.

Professionals with experience in roles characterised by complex precision mechanical products/systems, specifically rotating equipment, gear systems, complex machinery, or capital equipment manufacturing will be advantageous. Candidates can be based remotely in the UK or US. The remuneration package is supported by an attractive bonus opportunity based on successful performance and includes a car or car allowance, private health insurance (US).
